Hotel Wilder Mann - Passau

I was traveling solo and stayed for one night, primarily to visit the nearby attractions like the Museum of the Treasure of the Cathedral and the Diocese. The room was surprisingly spacious, featuring a dining table and large closets. I really appreciated the charming ambiance mixed with historic flair, especially the unique appearance of the building that houses the hotel. Although the wifi access was tricky, my time at breakfast in the lovely hall with fantastic views made up for it. Plus, it was nice to have easy access to public transportation.

The location is charming, but the staff are incompetent. I found it laughable when told cash was the only option, yet a moment later, the terminal woudl ve been 'fixed'. A room upgrade would have been generous considering my experience, but alas, I guess they reserve that for other, more important guests. What a shame.

The wifi setup is baffling!!! Checking in is an odd affair with two levels per floor that could leave guests in a maze!!! The rooms facing into a light well were disappointingly dark and cramped for comfort!!!

location: the hotel was short walk to the riverfront and the store up the block. splendid, wonderful room, thoroughly enjoyed it. some of the staff members were kind and personable. the breakfast was great, i will definitely go again next time.

The room was spacious and decorated with antique furnishings that really captured the essence of Bavarian charm. Enjoying breakfast in the rooftop salon with amazing views of the cathedral was a highlight of the stay.

Unfortunately, the wifi setup was quite confusing and inconsistent, made staying connected a bit of a hassle. The hotel layout with multiple levels could be somewhat disorienting when navigating through it.

Breakfast lacked options, but the cozy room and fine river views were highlights!

Charming atmosphere with historic character. The thick stone walls and antique decor set a unique ambiance. Breakfast on the top floor offered amazing views of the cathedral and river. The room was spacious, with a dining table and plenty of storage. The wifi access was confusing and took some effort to log in. The staff were helpful, but language barriers occasionally caused miscommunication, especially regarding payment methods. I appreciated the hotel's character but found some quirks that need addressing for a smoother experience.

The location is clean and quaint, perfect for a quick stay. The glass museum was an absolute gem!

The wilder mann is located right next to the municipality building. My room was really spacious, with three beds and a dining table, perfect for families. The staff were cheerful and super helpful, especially with parking advice.

The beds are a bit low, which might be tough with mobility issues.
